Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death.
The power of His resurrection. Jesus wants us to walk in this power. It is the need of our day.
If the power of his resurrection is the power to bring death to life and it is! Then, our lives should reflect this power. Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Dead works are works done in the flesh. These works appear on the outside to be “spiritual” but in reality, they are things done in our power and in our strength.
Works done in the “Spirit” are those things with the breath and touch of God on them. You can preach, teach, sing, give, or do any number of things in the flesh. Sadly, it occurs all too often. With fleshly results. We are all guilty.
It seems to me to be so common that we have become accustomed to it. I believe we must turn it around to where we know within ourselves when we are not filled with the Spirit and we stop and make things right with the Father so we may have the power of his resurrection.
Our world desperately needs today a moving of the Holy Spirit that leads to revival. That moving of the Holy Spirit is His working in Christians to draw them first, to a fresh and renewed relationship with JESUS! Then we can have a revival.
Today, we must determine I will walk in this power. I will serve my Lord filled with and directed by the Holy Spirit.
Be Blessed,
Bro. Dewayne
