Psalm 63:5 (KJV)
⁵  My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

 Are you satisfied? What a loaded question. Many would say, ‘will it depends on what day it is.’ Some would, in being honest, say ‘no I am not.’ Our verse today, uses the analogy of satisfaction with marrow and fatness.

 The picture of marrow, the substance that improves the immune system, strengthens the blood, improves vitamin B production, that helps improve your kidney function. Wow, think of the improvement in health and the way you feel? Think of waking up in the morning full of energy, clarity, and strength.

That will change your life. Fatness, one of the root meanings of the word is abundance. Our Lord provides health, help, and abundance to our SOUL. That is not the body but our innermost being. The part of us that needs encouragement and strength for the “daily grind.”

 No wonder the Psalmist said I will praise the Lord with joyful lips. The only one that can really help us has promised that He Will. We MUST seek Him. Is the Lord God Jehovah the One, the one thing you pursue? He should be. He can be.

 Make a determination Today. I choose to seek HIM!

⁸  When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

Make it so, Lord, please make it so.
