 Exodus 33:18-19 (KJV)
¹⁸  And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
¹⁹  And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

 Today let’s look at the phrase where God says “I will make all my goodness pass before thee.” The word “goodness” means “superlatively concrete the best” according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.  

 Use your imagination with me. At first I wondered how long did that take? How much did Moses see? But then I realized that the goodness of God is not in the things He does but it is Himself. God is Good. At least 7 times in our King James Bible it says “the Lord is good.”

 When God, the Lord God, told Moses I will let “all my goodness pass before thee” He was allowing Moses to see God Himself! My friend, listen, God is Good. He, Himself, His very essence is that He is Good.

 We will never be satisfied with things, or places, or people, even if He provides those categories for us. ONLY HE, God will satisfy the heart of man. Only the presence of God will satisfy and bring peace and contentment to us.

 Today start looking for HIM, not even what He can do. Depend only on His Presence to satisfy your soul.
