 Exodus 33:18-19 (KJV)
18  And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.
19  And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

Good Morning! This is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Today look at the phrase “I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee.” The word “proclaim” means to accost, to confront boldly, according to Strong’s and Webster’s. The idea is to make known the name of the LORD in a BIG way. The question is what name is God speaking of. He is known by many different names in Scripture. That would be a great study for any believer. But this name is “Yahweh.” It is the original name the LORD God used to introduce Himself to Moses at the burning bush. “I Am that I Am.” The self-existent, eternal, all powerful all everything God. There is none else. Isaiah 45 tells us this over and over.

How does the LORD do this? By showing Himself mighty in all things. He promises and He provides. For the next 40 years the Lord took care of Israel. He fed them Manna and Quail. He gave them victory after victory. He protected them time after time.

I could go on and on. The truth we need to receive is this. We all could testify of how the LORD provides for His people. Just today, I received news of how the Lord provided in one instance financially and how He provided wisdom and direction in another. That is Him! That is our LORD proclaiming His Name.

The question is not does He proclaim His Name to us; it is are we listening to our wonderful Saviour?

 Listen for His Voice!

 Be Blessed,
