Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
For our last day this week, let’s look at what the Apostle Paul wrote about sufferings. Now remember other than the Lord Jesus and maybe Job no one suffered as Paul did. Yet, he had the right perspective on suffering. He knew he was to bring about the Glory of God. This Glory is in us and for Him.
When we allow our Father to work on us and in us it produces a Glory all its own. A Glory that honors Him. It is a result of that “Gethsemane Moment” when we say not my will but thine. It then continues in obedience to our Father no matter the cost, when we say with Job, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him!
That is when we will begin to comprehend how much Jesus valued us! It is also when we begin to value Him, as we should. I believe it is the fulfillment of Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Remember our Father does not do things to us He does things in us that He might do things for us.
Today, raise the bar on how you look upon our Wonderful Savior! Place Him first on your list and first in your heart.
I say again – What A Savior! I Bless Your Name, Jesus!!
Be Blessed,
Bro. Dewayne
