Proverbs 18:1Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.

Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

I still have the Presence of God on my heart this morning. Yesterday I said I desperately need it in my life. I want to rephrase the statement. I desperately need HIM in my life. My life without Jesus is empty and wasted. Yours is as well.

The question is how we get the presence of God in our life.  For a couple of days, I have talked about things we need to change, our thinking, our prayer life, and things we should take out of our life that is sin. Today I want you to focus on our verses above.  Let’s talk about some things in our life we need to add.

The key here is we must desire His presence in our lives. Desire indicates the small recognition that we want His presence. Once we recognize the need, we need to employ a different approach in our life to increase the desire to accomplish the goal of His presence. Our verse in Proverbs gives us two steps. The first one is to separate ourselves from hindrances or distractions, the second is to intermeddle with wisdom. The word intermeddle means to be stubborn about something. To be set on getting something accomplished. In Proverbs wisdom takes on the personification of the Lord Jesus Himself. Isaiah tells us to seek the Lord while he may be found. Now is the time to put a daily segment of time in your life where you seek Him. Every step you take will bring you closer to Him and will assure His Presence in your life.

Be Blessed,
Bro. Dewayne
