Isaiah 41:9-13 (KJV)
⁹  Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.
¹⁰  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
¹¹  Behold, all they that were incensed against thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish.
¹²  Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war against thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought.
¹³  For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

 Isaiah, the prophet of God. 66 chapters of prophecy and of God’s judgment.

 Yet in the midst of the prophet telling us of coming judgment, he gives us the encouragement of God’s presence, power, protection and love. The God of Creation is concerned about us!

 He promises us, those he has taken from the ends of the earth that He will help us. In the troubles of Life, He will walk with us and guide us. He will deal with our enemies and defend us. He tells us that he will confound the enemy.

 But to me the best is he will “hold thy right hand.” We humans need that. He provides assurance to us by holding our hand. While holding our hand He speaks to us assuring us by saying “fear not I will help thee.” How wonderful to know He, God, Jehovah Elohim, the Eternal Self-Existent, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, is saying to us I am holding on to you to help you. I need the help, how about you?
