Isaiah 41:13 (KJV)
13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
Today I want to look at verse 13. As I was writing yesterday’s email the Lord spoke to me about a truth found in this verse. It is underneath the surface.
Notice the verse specifically points out the Lord is holding to our right hand. In the scripture, the right hand is considered the hand of power and strength. The Lord breathed into my heart this; He is holding to our right hand to keep us from using our strength and power to try to solve the problem or try to deliver us from trouble. We have to rely on Him and His strength and power to get the job done.
Another fact is this, the Lord knows our flesh has the tendency to get puffed up with pride. Pride puts man at enmity with God. He hates pride. It is the root of all sin. Anytime mankind thinks it has accomplished anything without the Lord, it results in Pride.
With the Lord holding our hand we will realize real help, real solutions all come from HIM! He is our source.
Today, turn loose of all the things you can’t control and take His hand and let Him fix the problem. Oh, and Give Him the Glory! He deserves it.
