 Psalm 40:17 (KJV)
¹⁷  But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

 One last look for now at our verse. Today I want to look at the phrase “my deliverer.” What a wonderful thought. The word for deliverer is a word that means to carry away safely. It also means to slip out. It even means to “calve.”

 Our Lord makes a way for you and me. He knows the way. He is the way. For every one of us, He weaves the fabric of our lives into something beautiful that will bring glory to our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

 God wants to use your life and mine. He can take a test and turn it into a testimony. He can take a trial and turn it into a triumph. He can even take a mess and turn it into a miracle. He is our deliverer.

 Turn to Him today! Let Him take the reins of your life and guide you through. He wants to carry you away safely.
